Indie rock band the Kaiser Chiefs are to perform in the capital next year, as part of a series of dates across the UK.
The popular group, which was named after a South African football team, will be hitting the O2 Academy Brixton on Friday 1 March 2013.
Formed in 1996, the Kaiser Chiefs shot to fame following the release of their debut album ‘Employment` in 2005, which was said to have been inspired by New wave and punk music of the late 1970s and 1980s.
The album enjoyed prolonged international success and spawned massive hit singles such as ‘I Predict a Riot`, ‘Modern Way` and ‘Oh My God`. Its success earned the band a Mercury Prize in 2005.
They have released five studio albums in total and have long been considered one of the best British rock bands of the 2000s. Combine a fantastic night of live music with a stay in one of the excellent
hotels in London next year.
