The London marathon is fast approaching and many runners have been training hard all year. Whether it’s trying to smash previous records or just making it around the 26 mile course there will be plenty of tired legs at the Mall.
This year will see many rivals battling it out over the course, but none more so than Peter Andre’s ex, Katie Price, and his new girlfriend Elen Rives.
Katie has been tweeting about her training performance and her new marathon diet, carefully selected for her by a specialist dietarian. Meanwhile, Elen Rives has been confiding to her friends that “I’m in the best shape of my life”.
Peter and Katie fans will remember that the couple both ran the marathon 2 years ago and completed the course in seven hours and 11 minutes. This was a week before the couple decided to divorce. Elen completed it last year in five hours and 20 minutes. It looks as though there will be a lot of healthy competition this year.
In April,
London Hotels will attract crowds of people for the London marathon. They will all gather to show their support and watch the runners help raise money for charities and causes throughout the world.
