Legendary American rock band Little Feat has been lined up for a performance in the capital this summer.
The iconic group, formed by singer-songwriter, lead vocalist and guitarist Lowell George and keyboardist Bill Payne in 1969, will be hitting the Islington Assembly Hall in London on Monday 2 July.
Although experiencing multiple changes throughout the duration of their career, Little Feat continue to be associated with an eclectic blend of rock and roll, blues, R&B, boogie, country, folk and many other genres, and are widely considered as one of the most musically gifted bands of their generation.
Led by founding member Bill Payne, they are expected to perform new material as well as some of their classics when they hit London, as part of their only confirmed date in the UK for 2012.
Just one of many fantastic gigs and events taking place throughout the capital this summer, it could represent a great night out for any of those hoping to take a break in one of the fantastic
hotels in London this July.
