London is set to say goodbye to its spectacular summer of sport later, as around 800 TeamGB athletes who competed in the recent Olympic and Paralympic Games travel through the city centre in a procession being billed as the ‘Greatest Team Parade`.

The parade will include some of the most successful British participants of the Games, including celebrated gold medal winners like Jessica Ennis, Mo Farah and Jonnie Peacock, and is expected to be attended by thousands of cheering followers.

This fantastic finale comes straight after what was a memorable closing ceremony to the Paralympics, which featured a host of dancers and live music performances from world-famous acts such as Coldplay and Rihanna.

The summer of 2012 has been a fantastic showcase for the UK, and has demonstrated to all who came to see the Olympics the many amazing things that can be experienced by coming to the city and booking a stay in one of the many great hotels in London.
