A famous London street has been shortlisted for a prestigious national award that aims to shine light on the best examples of urban places in Europe.

The celebrated Exhibition Road in the capital, which is now a shared space for residents and visitors to enjoy after a £30 million redevelopment scheme, will be competing against Chapel Street in Penzance and Hope Street in Liverpool for the Great Street Award, one of five categories in the Urbanism Awards 2013.

The street is probably most famous for being host to a range of famous cultural and scientific institutions, including the Victoria and Album Museum, the Royal Albert Hall, Imperial College London and the Royal College of Music forming just part of a fantastic cultural street identity.

Come and check out the fantastic array of landmarks on this stunning city street whilst taking a break in one of the idyllic hotels in London over the coming months.
