Famous London attractions including the London Eye and Buckingham Palace are said to have drawn increased figures in 2010 compared to the previous year. Even with the current economic climate, 3.1% more people flocked to London and visited the city’s attractions last year according to statistics from Visit London.
Despite challenges from air strikes, volcanoes erupting and severe weather conditions towards the end of the year, it is very positive to see that tourists made the effort to visit one of the most exciting capitals in the world.
2011 looks to be a good year for London Tourism, with
London Hotels looking busy for the Royal Wedding, big sporting events including the Champions League Final at Wembley and big music and comedy acts heading to London venues like Peter Kay at the O2 arena.
