To help celebrate one year to go until London 2012 opens in the capital, an orchestral balloon flight has been organised by the International Festival of Theatre.
Seven balloons have been flying approximately 150 metres above the London streets and those walking within the flight path have been able to hear a piece of music written by Dan Jones. Each Balloon has its own piece of the music to play and has surely surprised many Londoners and visitors as the balloons have flown past.
Visitors staying in
London hotels and walking around the city might be lucky enough to stroll into the flight path of the balloons and be treated to performance. The Balloon performances started on the 22nd and are set to make their last flight in London for the event today.
So if you are in London or heading to the capital today, keep checking the skies for this wonderful event.
