While the West End is set to bid farewell to a number of its popular shows in the coming weeks, there are rumours around another fantastic production to take their place, with Loserville believed to be transferring to the West End.
Inspired by the 2005 album Welcome to Loserville by Son of Dork, it tells the story of a typical high school nerd from 1971 and his sci-fi obsessed friends attempting to make their mark on the world despite their insignificance.
Currently showing in Leeds, the production team was rumoured to be in talks regarding a prominent transfer to London`s Phoenix Theatre, however the latest news is that it is all set to open at the Garrick Theatre. While the venue hasn`t yet confirmed the development, it is highly believable as there will be an empty stage after the production of Chicago closes on the 1 September.
The news is sure to please fans of Son of Dork, with the potential arrival bringing a fantastic new spectacle to enjoy as part of unforgettable
London theatre breaks.
