The rumours are true, confirmation of Matt Lucas and Alfie Boe joining the cast of
Les Miserables has been received. The pair were both part of the 25th anniversary concert that was held at the O2 arena last year.
Matt Lucas will be starring as Thénardier from June 23rd through till September 10th. The Little Britain star is no stranger to the theatre, as he has previously performed in the West End in productions of “Taboo” and “Prick up your ears”.
Alfie Boe is set to play Jean Valijean from June 23rd until November 26th, excluding certain dates. The tenor has also had previous stage experience in Baz Luhrmann’s “La Boheme” and even received a Tony Award for his role.
