One of the UK`s most successful theatre groups, Mercury Musical Developments, is preparing to host a special gala celebrating its 20th anniversary at the West End`s Novello Theatre this weekend.
The gala will be made up of one-off performances by some of the hottest current leading lights of musical theatre, including the multiple Olivier Award winning Janie Dee, the co-writer of Loserville, James Bourne, and star of Matilda the Musical Paul Kaye. A special auction will also be held on the night, with collectible items such as a piece of Les Miserables memorabilia signed by Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe and the original handwritten lyrics to the James Bond theme Diamonds Are Forever open to bids.
