A new exhibition offering a comprehensive overview of punk graphic design has been launched in the capital.
Titled ‘Someday all the Adults Will Die!`, the in-depth display was opened today at the Southbank Centre in London and will run until Sunday 4 November.
Surveying imagery established before, during and after the punk years, the exhibition is playing host to previously unseen public and private archives.
Work by Gee Vaucher, Linder Sterling, Jamie Reid and Gary Panter will be featured alongside numerous other anonymous artists, whilst the exhibit has been curated by Johan Kugelberg and Jon Savage. The exemplary graphic design work will be enlightened by a selection of homemade cassettes, ‘zines, posters, handbills, records and clothing, taking interested persons on a journey back in time.
One of many fascinating exhibitions taking place in the capital throughout the year, it represents part of a great day out whilst enjoying a break in one of the fine
hotels in London.
