An underground restaurant designed to ‘celebrate the age of modern industrialists` is set to open in the capital next month, in what is a unique addition to the city`s fantastic culinary landscape.
The Factory House, which hosts a design akin to the Victorian age of innovation and industry, will be unveiled in London`s Leadenhall in mid-September.
The menu is to represent the enterprise of the era with an ‘innovative twist` by executive chef Sean Davies, whilst the wine list and cocktail menu will be designed by Fluid Movement, the group behind London cocktail bars Purl and Worship Street Whistling Shop.
Some of the dishes at the establishment will include smoked eel cakes with mackerel mousse and watercress; guinea fowl with black pudding Scotch eggs, artichoke puree and roasted Medlars; and blood orange posset with blood orange granita.
Be sure to accompany a relaxing break in one of the excellent
London hotels with a tasty trip to this fascinating new establishment.
