Following the immensely successful Paralympic Games this summer, an annual festival of disability sport is to be launched at the Olympic Park, it has been announced.
The event will be staged at the venue as part of a £2 million package of future Paralympic plans and will be linked to a programme of training at sporting clubs in surrounding boroughs according to the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC).
It is hoped thousands of people will benefit from the Paralympic Legacy Programme put together by the LLDC, with new homes, public spaces and sporting venues all expected to be completed over the coming months and years.
The event is yet another fabulous addition to the capital, which is thriving following one of the most successful summers in the city`s rich historical past.
