A unique collection of prints created by the masterful Picasso are currently on exhibition in London, giving a fantastic spectacle for any cultural buffs visiting the city in the coming months to admire.
Regarded as the world`s most successful artists, the Spanish genius single-handedly changed the perception of modern art, famous for challenging people`s ideas through a revolutionary cubist movement. He was prolific in his work, estimated to have produced around 50,000 artworks during his incredible life.
The works that are currently on display are a collection of the ‘Vollard Suite`, consisting of around 100 etchings created between 1930 and 1937. Many of them feature the artist`s young lover Marie-Thérèse Walter, while some also refer to the myth of the Minotaur, portraying Picasso`s deep interest in classical mythology.
Currently on display at the British Museum until the 2 September, Picasso Prints: The Vollard Suite gives a fascinating insight into one of the finest artists ever. If you are looking forward to a stay in one of the many
