The popular London musical Rock of Ages is to close at the Shaftesbury Theatre in the capital on 6 January ahead of a transfer to a yet-to-be-confirmed West End venue, it has been confirmed.

The import from Broadway, which comprises an array of rock songs including ‘Don`t Stop Believin`, ‘We Built This City`, ‘The Final Countdown` and ‘Here I Go Again` to name but a few, is to be replaced imminently, with some speculating that the Duchess could fill the void.

Originally featuring X Factor winner Shayne Ward and TV presenter Justin Lee Collins, the West End cast now consists of Tim Howar, Ross Hunter and Natalie Andreou.

Focusing on the fortunes of Drew, a busboy and aspiring rocker who follows his dreams to Los Angeles to one of the most famous rock clubs in the city, the play is set in 1987 and recently made it on to the big screen starring Tom Cruise, Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin.

Come and enjoy this or any other memorable spectacles in the West End whilst on one of our fabulous London theatre breaks.
