An exciting new development in the shape of Oil Tanks is to open at the Tate Modern next year, it has been confirmed.
The former power station has not used its oil tanks since it was converted into the prestigious art gallery it is today, and it has been transformed into a beautiful art space, which will be open to the public from April to December next year, although exact dates are yet to be confirmed.
Circular and measuring at 30 metres in width and 7 metres in height, it is hoped the unusual setting to showcase art could also be used to host live performances and events as well as a wide variety of different art forms.
One of the main attractions in the capital, the Tate Modern Art Gallery continues to attract visitors from around the world and is one of the most popular modern art galleries.
