In some fantastic news for London theatre, it has been confirmed that The Judas Kiss will be transferring to the West End following a triumphant residency at the Hampstead Theatre in Swiss Cottage. It is a development which is sure to garner great attention from theatre fans nationwide.
Starring Rupert Everett and Freddie Fox as Oscar Wilde and Lord Alfred Douglas respectively, the show focuses on two key moments in the last years of the Irish writers life; the eve of his arrest at the Cadogan Hotel and an evening in Naples the night after his release. The show has had a wealth of positive reviews, even being described as ‘the most convincing dramatic portrait of Wilde` by The Guardian`s Michael Billington.
The Judas Kiss will be staged at the Duke of York theatre from the 9 January until the 6 April, an example of some of the fantastic shows which are able to be a part of one of the many
London theatre breaks throughout the year.
