London`s West End is set to play host to another stellar production, with the acclaimed play
The Last of the Haussmans bringing a delightful play to the capital.
The spectacle, directed by Stephen Beresford, offers a humorous yet touching tale of Judy Haussman as she begins to deal with the consequences of her misspent hippie past, while in the company of her offspring Nick and Libby and spirited granddaughter Summer. The role of Judy is to be handed to Julie Walters, with the seasoned actress set to make her first stage appearance since being included in Victoria Wood`s 2005 musical Acorn Antiques.
The Last of the Haussmans is set to open at the Lytteton on London`s Southbank from 23 June, available for viewing until at least 15 September. Why not see the show as part of one of the many
London theatre breaks available throughout the year? With this summer marking the return of the Olympic Games to the capital, it`s certainly the place to be!
