Legendary English electronic dance music group The Prodigy are to perform a gig in the capital this Christmas as part of their Warriors End of the World Extravaganza tour, it has been revealed.
Tickets have gone on sale today for the gig, which is taking place at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on 18 and 19 December. Fans are being urged to book their tickets quickly to avoid disappointment, whilst any of those planning on combining the live music experience with a break in one of the excellent London hotels
are also being encouraged to book their place soon, with the capital packed full of visitors during the Christmas period.
Formed in 1990, The Prodigy have been credited as pioneers of the big beat genre, and achieved mainstream popularity throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
Renowned for incorporating various styles ranging from rave, industrial and hardcore techno into their music, they are probably best known for their massive hit singles ‘Firestarter` and ‘Breathe`.
