The World Press Photo exhibition is making a return to the capital this winter, featuring some of the most striking images from around the world.

Residing in London`s Royal Festival Hall from 9 - 27 November, the display will feature 167 images and will include the World Press Photo of the Year – taken by Samuel Aranda – as well as selected photographs from nine other categories in the competition.

The exhibition will be marking the 55th year of the acclaimed World Press Photo, which encompasses 101,254 entries from 124 different countries, and will include some of the most significant events that have taken place over the past year, highlighting the importance of photojournalism around the world.

Entry is free for the 18-day long event, which could represent a memorable and thought-provoking day out for visitors. Combine your cultural experience with a break in one of the stunning London hotels this winter.
