The Show
This spectacular new show follows the career of Carole King, from selling her first hit 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow' at the age of 17, through her writing of hits from artists such as Aretha Franklin, the Drifters and the Monkees to becoming a superstar in her own right. The show tells the untold story of her relationship with husband and song writing partner Gerry Goffin as well as the friendly rivalry with fellow song writing duo Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil. This rivalry gave both couples the impetus to produce some of the greatest songs of the time including 'Up On The Roof', 'The Locomotion' and 'You've Lost That Loving Feeling'.

History of Beautiful
After a pre-Broadway try out at the Curren Theatre in San Francisco in October 2013 the show opened on Broadway on January the 12th 2014 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. On February the 25th 2015 the show opened in London's West End starring Katie Brayben as Carole King and directed by Marc Bruni with words and music by Gerry Goffin, Barry Mann, Cynthia Weil and Carole King.
