"This was a treat for my husband`s 50th birthday and his first theatre experience.
The theatre was easy to find, the staff were all friendly and welcoming, the show itself was absolutely amazing, emotional, stunning performances and even a bit funny in places. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and will hopefully be returning to see it again."

"I had never seen or heard any of les mis but still thouoghly enjoyed the show. We had to leave through a side door at the end & weren`t allowed back into the theatre to purchase a souvenir t shirt so if you want any merchandise I would reccomend getting it before the show starts but overall was a really pleasurable evening with fantastic performances."

"This was the third time I have seen this show but it was the first time I have taken my daughter, they have changed a few bits the classic barricade scene has changed slightly and there are some very clever lighting effects that have been added, but over all still an epic show, the cast were amazing. My daughter loved every second.and if you haven`t seen it yet WHY NOT you will not be disappointed."

"It would be unfair to rate the show as the theatre cancelled the performance 5 days before we were due to go. I`m not happy that I found out by accident, my aunt tried to book tickets to go with us. Saw Jersey Boys instead which was fantastic. Booked Les Mis for later in the year, sadly not via hotel direct as the website wouldn`t allow me to book train tickets with the booking."

"The show was excellent. The cast and everyone involved were first class. We sat at the front of the Grand Circle and were expecting a restricted view. You needed to lean forward in order to catch some of the show and considering the first half was an 1.5 hours and the second half was slightly shorter it was not very comfortable. Next time we would spend the extra for better seats."

Audience members in the Dress Circle were uncomfortable for much of the shows running time, which is a shame as it affects your experience of the show. "After several years of seeing many West End musicals ranging from Phantom of the Opera to Matilda, this is the one I`ve always wanted to see and it did not disappoint. After watching both the film and the TV series I was familiar with the story line. However, watching it live on stage took it to a whole new level. Brilliantly casted with great set changes that were so slick they never once held up the performance. The Sondheim theatre is also a fantastic setting. So if anyone`s thinking of booking, don`t hesitate go ahead and book. You won`t be disappointed."

"We had an amazing time at the theatre for my grandmothers 70th we walked from the Holiday Inn to the theatre which was easy enough to do, a 20 minute walk. When we got there it was easy enough to get our tickets just saying our names and the service in the bar and to our seats was great too! The Tahoe was great and would recommend it to anyone!"

"Booked through Hotel Direct, hassle free, picked tickets up as arranged from the theatre and made our way to our seat, we sat in B21 & 22 upper circle, good view, only the very front of the stage was obscured and I imagine if you had seats at the very back the view would not have been so good. Great musical lived up to all our expectations, longer than we though it might be and the singing was exceptional. Thoroughly recommend."

I was a bit disappointed with the seats as I had chosen at the back of the stalls which was restricted view (cheaper option), didn`t realise until on the night we could only see the bottom half of the stage, so couldn`t appreciate the whole set, due to the floor of the higher level. However, we didn`t let it spoil the night and the show was magnificent, we especially enjoyed the music,the singing and the orchestra, superb sound quality.. ."

I grew up on it and other musicals but had never seen this particular show in the West End. It was worth the wait... the cast were incredible, the story is so moving and the music captures you. "Unfortunately there was a power cut on the evening of 25th November and the show was cancelled. Can`t explain the disappointment after almost a year of saving to go to London especially to see Les Miserables. We were given forms to complete so we can get a refund for the show but we are now wondering whether we could ever afford to go back to London due to the cost of train fares and somewhere to stay. We know it couldn`t be helped but we are pretty heartbroken"

Only complaint is with the lack of leg room. This took away from the show massively for me as my knees were pushed so hard into the chair in front they were bruises by the time I left. I looked around and found other isles didn`t have the problem. We bought cheaper seats with restricted view at the back if the stall. The view was fine as it is a small theatre, but it should say if you pay less for isle U its because there is no leg room."

I had only seen the film (which I enjoyed). The live show was so much better. The individual performances were excellent so powerful and emotional and the use of props (barricade, revolving stage etc) was ingenious."

But the Theatre was so small, we had absolutely no leg room and because we were seated in the upper circle, some of the staging was so high that any of the cast standing on top of staging could not be seen. Again any cast at the very front of the stage could not be seen well.....very disappointing!"

"The theatre and hotel booking was made as a surprise for my wife`s birthday, which I was keen to keep secret from her until the day. It all worked superbly ! The Hotel, which was not the cheapest, but offered a very good deal, exceeded my, and my wife`s, expectations. The theatre show, Les Miserables, was outstanding ! If there remian anyone who has not yet seen Les Miserables, they really should go - you cannot beat it for musical entertainment!"

I will say make sure you splash out on good seats as the stage is actually smaller than you think it will be and the cast have a tendency to hide at the front meaning restricted view seating does suffer slightly - particularly when the man in front keeps moving around and straining to see meaning that his head is in your way!
A must see, but if you don`t know the plot then read it before hand; I know a lot of people who were very confused!"

"We had tickets on the top balcony on row AA. It was suggested at the box office when we collected the tickets that the view was not very good, even by restricted view standards, as we were just behind the lighting rig. We couldn`t change seats as it was a sell out, but I`m glad that we didn`t anyway! The view was superb, you simply need to lean forward slightly to take in the whole stage. Cast and show itself was superb, exactly as you would expect really. The only thing you may need to be aware of is that the interval is really short, so toilets and drinks is a one or the other scenario. Fantastic!"

The ticket stated, and they were, restricted view. Only problem was that when booking it was not indicated that they would be restricted view, if so, I would not have booked them but gone direct to the Theater and booked other tickets at whatever price, whatever date. I am disappointed that the evening was spoiled by not being able to see any action on the stage front right - we missed a lot. I thought this was the best so far. The cast was great. I was really impressed with Gareth Gates, never having been a fan, while no Michael Ball I thought he did a great job as Marius.
Jean Valjean is a difficult role and I rose to my feet when Simon Bowman to his bow. The "reality stars" Sam Barks & Lucy Jones were also very good indeed. A great production all round. Roll on number 5"

Scenery so amazingly worked and the show intriguing. Certainly want to watch this one again."

"This is the fourth West End show my fiancee and I have seen, My fiancee thought it was OK and I didnt think much of it. Whilst the performers were all very good and there were some good moments, the songs were instantly forgettable and the whole show didn`t inspire like the ones we have previously seen."

"This was a show we have been waiting to see and we celebrated my 60th birthday with this theatre break. The show surpassed our expectations - the theatre was superb and the cast were soooooo good!! Not enough toilets in the theatre, though."

"The seats we got through booking this theatre package were 4 rows from the front of the stage and amazing. I have seen many Westend shows and this is my second time seeing Les Miserables and it just gets better every time. This show is by far the best. Fantastic."

"Entire production was breathtaking. Cast excellent, stage management amazing. The director deserves special praise for the stunning stagecraft. To go from believable church to ballroom to sewer to barricades to alehouse all in seconds in such a small theatre was brilliant. We absolutely loved every minute."
