"The cast and music were very good. The seats (AA14 and AA15) were terrible. At best the restricted view was just half the stage. If I had lent forward to get a better view, my wife wouldn`t have seen a thing. These seats should not be sold at any cost."

"We had seats in grand circle F16-18. We couldn`t see the very front edge of the stage without leaning forward a little but in general the cast didn`t go to that edge often. We did also get the booster cushions as a few rows ahead of us we leaning forward throughout the show and it obstructed some of our view but again in general we could see everything. The show was fabulous, followed the film storyline. Great music & cast. You can only sing/dance on the finale - it`s a feel good show, well worth a watch."

We had a 10 year old who soon became bored because she could not see the stage because of a metal bar which obstructed our view. I had seat in the balcony section but I did not realise that it was going to be so high, so when I went to my seat I was just not able to sit there as I was just so scared and I was unable to look down so my friend asked if we were able to be moved which we were but the service I received as so great and they were so understanding even as I was crying my eyes out they all just made me feel that it was ok and that I was not causing then any trouble. I was moved and went on to be able to enjoy the show.Staff and show outstanding."

My husband (who is not much of a musicals fan) through it was absolutely fantastic. We were singing and moving about to the well known songs. All we can say is we want more, more more!"

"The show was fabulous, at the end everybody was singing along, even the staff were dancing, beautiful atmosphere, I would go again. My friend has a walking stick and struggled a bit on the stairs going I , a member of staff immediately came over and upgraded our seats, walked Us to them, and popped over two or three times to check we were ok. They went above and beyond and I was so impressed by them all and the respect that we were treated with. Customer service at its best. Thank you so much for making our evening extra special."

"The show was really good, the only thing that spoilt it for me, was we chose stall seats thinking they would have more of a tier than they did. This meant when the large man who sat in front me, I couldn`t see and I`m tall so it was disheartening that I couldn`t enjoy the show fully I had to keep moving from left to right to see the people on the stage, which made it uncomfortable for me."

We were frustrated that this started at the beginning of the show and was not noticed by the staff. A polite notice with this show would help as you are given the chance to join in at the end. It was fabulous though!"

"Unfortunately, the train journey was a nightmare. Virgin were on strike on the day we left for London. I had booked first class as a treat and we did not have this. We arrived at Chester only to be told that there was no train for us and we had to get to Crewe by bus! We arrived in London very late. Coming home on the Sunday was very disappointing also. We got onto the train - Virgin and sat at our first class seats for a very short time before we had to change in Crewe to a normal train where there was no first class - something that i`d paid for. First Class was very expensive and unfortunately, this did not happen - we should be re-inbursed the cost"

"This was the first time we had seen Mamma Mia and I took my partner as part of his birthday present and also because he is a massive Abba Fan. He absolutely loved it and so did I it was filled with fun and laughter all the way through with brilliant singing voices that Abba would be proud of and it was great to sing along to all the songs too. "First off let me comment on the theatre itself ,very very uncomfortable for a 2hour + show.Limited legroom with very very uncomfortable seats.
The show itself ? well the lead lady singer(Donna Sheridan) seems to sing through her nose for much of the performance hence making it difficult to hear what she is saying clearly ,the male singers were very weak vocally and at times more then a bit wooden .
The young lead girl (Sophie ) seemed to absolutely full of herself and almost forgot there were other people on stage as well as her.Overall show score 6/10 ,mainly saved by the Abba music,certainly not the singers/actors."

Staff in the theatre all very friendly and helpful and plenty of bars, if a bit pricey! Some of the prices for the merchandise are pretty scandalous has to be said. £15 for a tiny teddy bear in a t-shirt?? Would come again without a doubt."

"We went to the theatre and got shown to our seats but due to my fear of heights, worse than I thought! I was unable to stay in the seat. We asked if we could upgrade our seats but it was all sold out so we had to leave without seeing the show. I know it`s not anybody`s fault but it might be an idea to say in the web site that the Novello theatre balcony seats are so steep it`s like sitting on a cliff! Also VERY high up."

"Our seats were Grand Circle R/V AA19 and AA20. You could only see half of the stage and even when you lean forward and twist sideways you cannot see the whole stage. Having said that the show was brilliant and, apart from back and neck ache by the end, we really enjoyed the performance. Would definitely do a theatre break again but would try to get slightly better seats next time."

The seats that were available to purchase, AA20, 21, 22 and 23, with the hotel package should never be sold even with the advise that they have restricted viewing! I was in seat AA20 and could only see the stage by kneeling on the floor and leaning over the balastrade and Likewise with seat AA21. AA22 and 23 did not have to kneel, but certainly had to lean forward. We were unable to move to seats in the stalls but had to pay extra. What seemed like a good deal was not. In this case Restricted View actually meant "No View""
