The Show
The hit musical returns to the West End after its incredible 2012 debut, and is set to thrill audiences in London all over again. Based on the 1992 film written by Oscar-nominated screen-writer Lawrence Kasdan, and adapted for the stage by Alexander Dinelaris, The Bodyguard tells the story of how ex-Secret Service Agent Frank Farmer is hired to protect Rachel Marron (Beverley Knight), a global superstar of film and music. Having recently left the US Secret Service, Frank is approached by Rachel's manager after it becomes apparent she has a murderous, mystery stalker. As the plot thickens and situations turn darker throughout the show, the underlying and turbulent love story between the two main characters continues. Filled with hit songs originally recorded by Whitney Houston including One Moment in Time, I Wanna Dance with Somebody, and of course her cover of I Will Always Love You, this romantic thriller takes audiences on a journey not easily forgotten! After a series of discoveries which present more questions than they answer, the show comes to a point with a dramatic ending ? but who will survive?

History of The Bodyguard
The Bodyguard originally came to the screen with Kevin Costner and Whitney Houston playing the leads in the 1992 film. After two decades and six years of development, the show debuted in London's West End at the end of 2012. The run was quickly extended after taking over Ł4 million in advanced sales within the first month of opening. It began a run in the Netherlands in September 2015 and another in Cologne, Germany in November 2015. A U.S tour for North America has recently been announced following the show's growing success, as well as rumours of it being taken to Australia, Broadway and the Far East.
