"AMAZING - I`M IN LOVE WITH A PUPPET HORSE!"
"This show is presented in a very unusual way, not just the puppet horses but there are even birds and a really sassy goose. The whole thing is modern, exciting and compelling. A beautiful and touching account of the relationship between man and horse. Congratulations!!!!"

"Ivvocative and skilled"
"Fantastic...my second time seeing it. Took my Mum this time. Simple yet so affective in lighting, scenes and props......perfectly performed and highly imaginative. The horses were amazing and thier body languadge was awe inspiring. Well worth the effort in traveling and time to see. Thank you for showing me such thought and care as I am wheelchair bound just now."

"Although the horses/puppets were excellent and the people operating them very clever we found the whole story line to be a little weak and long winded. We have seen many shows around the world but this was our first play, I have to say I would think twice about seeing one again. Definately did not enjoy it when they started speaking in French/German!"

"Miss it and miss the experience of a lifetime!"
"An intense representation of man`s inhumanity to man & beast, yet revealing the immense heroism of which we are capable; great performances, supported by incredible staging, music, sound and lighting effects, and with moments of humour too. But you will never see anything half so impressive as the horses - `puppets` doesn`t give any idea of how magnificent they are, and bring a hankie; if you have any humanity, you`ll need it. Out of 10 stars, I`d give it 100!"

"War Horse - excellent!"
"Excellent show, cleverly told with a strong storyline that held attention throughout. The puppetry is so skilful, you forget they are not real horses. Funny and sad at times but well worth seeing. Small theatre but our seats in circle were ideal as we had great view."

"An excellent and professional show"
"Each and every performer was meticulous in the way they produced the whole show. Their co-ordination was inspiring and totally different to any other show I have seen. The horses did become real within my brain and as a result I became totally enthralled with the show. The theatre staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and I would recommend the whole show as a `must see`."

"Realistic Horses"
"A fantastic telling of a true storey. The movement of the horses has to be seen. The horses manorisms a totally realistic. The part played by the Germans was true to the storey and vital for Joey`s survival. We would definately recommend this show. Try and get tickets in the stalls."

"War horse. You forgot after a while that they are not real horses."
"A moving story well told that brings home the horror of the great war for both sides, man and animal. Over a million horses went to France, only 62000 came back. Look out for the comedy goose."

"Very clever, innovative show based during World War 1. Don`t be put off by the word `puppets`"
"Very clever use of life size puppets as the `war horses` gives a completely different (although still horrific) view of World War 1. I would recommend this show to anyone who is either an animal lover, or who is interested in 20th century history. The word `puppet` doesn`t adequately describe the clever way in which the horses are depicted on stage. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, and a very professional production. Thanks to all involved."

"Warhorse, Pithy, poignant and starkly realistic with simply unbelievable puppetry."
"Few people realise how many horses perished in the first World War. This play tells the tale of a farming community and a young man who sells his horse to the army. Taken to France the horse is captured by the Germans and has a series of adventures. The action involves the main horse (also as a foal), several other horses and numerous birds. The animals are full sized shire type horse worked by three amazingly tallented puppeteers. It really is hard to remember they are not live animals with extraordinary attention to detail and the play is an unforgettable and awe inspiring experience. The cliche is "not to be missed" but it should not be."
