Arrived at Montenotte Hotel Cork, Thought Very nice but did not know our way around. 
Within half an hour I had met jimmy at the bar and he was a wealth of useful information.
All of the staff can`t do enough when it comes to helping to make your stay Great.
From Bar/Restaurant staff to house, keeping staff I have found few hotels that take a Pride in their Hotel to a new level, passion is more like the word I would use.
The rooms are Five Star the staff are five star Plus and the food well you just have to enjoy that experience to see what I mean. Would I recommend staying at this Hotel?   Yes!  Yes! And Yes again.

Trafalgar hill to be avoided on way to hotel coming in from Dublin. Our Sat-Nav sent us that way, only once! 
Just drive down the main road an extra  ½ a kilometre to the town and the main road to the hotel. Much more civilized.
