"good for what it was - a budget hotel close to Gare du Nord"
The hotel was fine. However, I had requested a room with disabled access and a walk in shower. I was advised beforehand that I could have a disabled room but that the room with the walk in shower was already booked. The room we were allocated was allegedly with disabled access but I couldn`t see what difference there was to an ordinary room - possibly a grap rail near the toilet? The shower was totally inaccessible with a large step, no grap rails etc. If I had known how inaccessible the (disabled) room would be I would not have used ths hotel

"Great view from roof and location"
Very good location, close to Anvers and Pigalle Metro and walking distance from the Gare de Nord, Sacre Coeur and Moulin Rouge. There is an excellent view from the roof terrace. We booked a double room and were given two adjoining rooms: one with twin beds and one a double bed which was quite close to the eaves. It was nice to have space to spread out as the room dimensions were quite small. We also had a shower room and a separate room with toilet and sink. The decor was dated, with old-fashioned 1970s furniture and strangely coloured walls; there was also some damp on the ceiling of the shower room. However, I did see a sign informing guests that rooms are being refurbished in stages. When we first arrived in the room there was the constant sound of running water; after some hours we realised that this was resolved by turning the radiator off! The breakfast was okay with the pastries and coffee machine being the best features. More fresh fruit would have been nice.

"-"
I walked from Gare Du Nord, so it is well situated in that sense, but their sign was unlit and the entrance not obvious enough, as I went past it looking for the number 55. It was comfortable, but their breakfast was very nice. A good hotel.

"Terrific terrace view"
Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were varied to cater for all tastes/styles. The rooms were tidy and clean with a HUGE bed. The roof terrace had spectacular views of the whole of Paris (although is inaccessable in inclement weather).
