The Brighton Hotel is in need of refurbishment. Bedroom was clean but shabby and furnishings were basic. Towels and loo paper very poor quality and there was no heating in the bathroom. The car park at the front of the hotel was tiny and we were charged £18 per night to park. The breakfast was adequate but the buffet extremely limited. The tables wobbled and cutlery was in a beaker on the table - all a bit transport cafe. The only positive comment I can make is that the staff were polite and friendly. We would never stay there again because it was certainly not value for money. Disappointing.
