The 3* Holiday Inn Express Leeds Armouries is situated in the Docks area, just a 10 minute walk from the railways station and 15 minutes on foot from the city centre. The Royal Armouries Museum is adjacent to the hotel and the Docks area has plenty of restaurants and bars Both the O2 Academy Leeds and the First Direct Arena can be reached in 20 minutes via public transport for music and entertainment events.

Getting there:

BY CAR: From the M62 and M1: Leave the M1 at J43 and head into M621 Leeds (Centre). Take Junction 3/4 off of the M621 and head straight into A653 (Dewsbury Rd) direction of Holbeck, central Leeds. Bear left into one-way gyratory system (signposted City Centre). At the traffic signals turn right onto Great Wilson Street - A653 (signposted (M1, M62), Harrogate, Wetherby, York). At the next set of traffic signals continue forward onto Great Wilson Street - A653 (signposted Harrogate (A61), Wetherby (A58), York (A64). Turn left onto Chadwick Street and then turn right onto Chadwick Street South. Turn left onto Armouries Drive, where you will find us situated. You can follow the brown tourist signs for Royal Armouries as we are situated next to it.
BY AIR: From Leeds Bradford International Airport. From the Airport follow signage for Leeds City Centre. Once you approach the centre you should see brown visitor signs for the Royal Armouries Museum. Follow these signs as the hotel is located adjacent to the museum. This is approx. 35 minutes by car.
BY TRAIN: From Leeds Train Station. Exit the station walking south-east on New Station Street, taking a right onto Lower Briggate continuing onto Bridge End. Stay on this road and turn left onto Dock Street, and a slight left at Kendall Street to take the stairs. At Armouries Way turn left, then right towards Armouries Drive, take a slight left onto this road and the hotel will be on the right. This is approx. a 15 minute walk.

Car Parking:

Multi-storey car park adjacent to the hotel. Guests can collect a discount voucher from the hotel reception. This reduces the rate for 24hours to £8, which is for multiple entry. Payment is made directly at the car park.
