| Room and hotel facilities: Hotel del Sole al Pantheon has been meticulously restored, faithfully reflecting its 15th century heritage. The hotel has 25 bedrooms all are individually styled and include Jacuzzi bath, air conditioning, TV, minibar, safety box, hairdryer and telephone. The hotel has a bar open till 10pm. The restaurant is only open for breakfast, but being so central you will have plenty of restaurants to choose from for lunch and dinner. The hotel benefits from a private garage (pay for). Hotel and location: Hotel Sole al Pantheon is one of the oldest hotels in Rome and stands just in front of the Pantheon one of the best preserved monuments of antiquity. The hotel provides you with a superb base to see all major tourist attractions. With the Trevi Fountain, Il Gesu Church within easy walking distance. Piazza della Rotonda is also surrounded by great shopping areas one being the Campo de Fiori with an array of antiques and crafts. The square is also lined with bookstores and eateries. Getting there: FROM FIUMICINO (also known as Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport) take the shuttle train the "Leonardo Express" to Termini. The train departs every half hour and the journey time is approximately 40 minutes. From Termini railway station you can take a bus number 64 to Torre Largo Argentina (the place where Julius Ceasar was assassinated) and turn right up into via di Torre Argentina you will shortly arrive in the square which contains the Pantheon. The Albergo del Sole al Pantheon is on the right hand side of the Piazza. FROM CIMPINO airport we recommend the Terravision shuttle bus service which departs every 15 minutes and arrives at Termini railway station. Journey time is approximately 40 minutes. DRIVING: As the hotel is located in the historical centre of Rome we suggest you park your car on the edge of town and take the excellent Rome public transport system. If you insist on driving into town then the Hotel del Sole al Pantheon concierge will be happy to organize parking for you in a nearby garage a daily supplement applies. If arriving in Rome from the North then you should be on the A1 highway Milan-Rome. When you get to the outskirts of Rome follow the signs for Rome`s ring road the G.R.A. Exit the GRA at Salaria or Salt Road and follow the city centre signs and in particular the signs for Piazza Venezia / Pantheon. If arriving in Rome from the South one should get onto the G.R.A (Grande Raccordo Anulare) and take the exit Appia, Appian Way, follow the signs for the historical centre i.e. two concentric circles looking out for the signs for Piazza Venezia.
