"Very Nice Hotel"

Stayed here many times before - Buffet breafast is excellent. Great quiet location next to the river thames and only 4 miles from the centre of Windsor.

"Great room and facilities"

We were in Windsor for a wedding so didn`t have any time to enjoy all the facilities on offer at at Oakley Court. However, our room was great and we enjoyed the glamourous setting.

The rooms were to warm. Could not adjust the air conditioning / temperature. One room the control knob was broken, Unable to open all the windows. Rest was v good.

Excellent customer service. I really liked that instead of waiting in a queue to be seated for breakfast you where directed to the lounge for a drink and pastry and the restaurant manager came to for you when your table was ready. Also, I had booked two rooms a double and a twin. The allocated rooms where both twins so I was given an alternative double room. Unfortunately the twin room was far superior (although nothing really wrong with the double) so they immediately reallocated us to the room next to the others and housekeeping changed the twim to a double. Nothing too much trouble from my experience. Good value for money

Loved every second of staying here - all staff were friendly I was especially impressed and pleased with concierge a very helpful man who helped us with our boat trip up the Thames . Loved the location upon the river and our rooms were everything we needed especially comfortable king size beds

"First class service."

This is a beautiful hotel. It has lovely relaxing greenery all around. I had breakfast overlooking the lake. I went with 3 others. The breakfast was definitely 5 star and had everything you can imagine there and more. The staff were 5 star in fact everything was so fantastic looking forward to returning.

"For and against Oakley Court"

For Grand historic building. Large terrace overlooking beautiful gardens & Thames. Setting and location hard to beat. Staff very good. Rooms well equiped, nice furniture & decor. Against No footpaths or directions from carparks, pedestrians rquired to walk in narrow roads leading to main entrance. The heating system to the East wing suffered from continuous noise at night, on a par with flying in a badly maintained jet aircraft, but in this instance probably due to a faulty circulation pump.

"Beautiful grounds, river walk, tennis and tea on the terrace, peaceful location"

good:- room size, bed comfort, quiet, breakfast choice and speed and quality of service and food. bad:- poor service on Friday in bar waiting for food, and the tiny size and massive price of the bar food Overall impression:- any bad things completely offset by all the good points.

The hotel and staff were very nice and I would love to stay here again and spend more time. The only negative point was that one of the shower heads (there were two) came off when the water was turned on, and the glass partition to keep the water inside the bathtub did not seem to be long enough so it was hard to avoid getting water all over the floor.

"Great price, place and accomodation!"

The Oakley Court is set in magnificant grounds. The staff are very freindly and helpfull, and the room we stayed in had a great view of the grounds and river. The resteraunt served fantastic food at a reasonable price for their set menu. Good weather is a plus if you stay here because you can sit in the sun by the river and just take in the wildlife that passes you by. A great place for relaxation!

"Heaven or what!"

The hotel was very beautiful with lovely staff to cater for anyone. Good spaced out rooms and very clean. Amazing location with river and greenery around it. If an ocassion rises to visit the hotel again, I would grab it!

"Top notch!"

No complaints here! Well...the room could have been cooler; the shower could have been more modern...BUT the staff were lovely; the food excellent and the surroundings perfect.

"Recommend this hotel highly."

Have stayed here several times. Really love the hotel, setting etc but on my most recent stay my room was located outside of the main building on ground level.....a little noisy (NYE) and the door into the building was not secure. Breakfast was great, staff attentive. A short drive to windsor central and that really tops the stay off.

"Great experience"

This hotel is the most relaxing place i have ever stayed in. This is my second stay at this hotel and will always go back. The building is amazing and has been the scene of many horror films including Bram Stoker`s Dracular , the hotel has a great history. The hotel staff are all very freindly. I think the hotel under sells itself as a 4 star and should be a 5 star. The hotel restaurant is fantastic.

"Generally nice hotel with pleasant staff."

My sons bedroom was great but I shared a room with my sister and although it was only a couple of doors away from my sons our room was very hot. We reported the air con not working but nothing was done about it. Otherwise everything else ok.

"very good service, the room was a bit tired"

we were attending a wedding, the whole event went very well and the staff were excellent. The room (410) needs tidying up, it is a bit tatty and tired.

"excellent hotel set in beautiful gardens"

A beautiful hotel inside & out set in lovely gardens alongside the thames. We are a family & I am disabled they immediately offered me a disabled family room even though I hadn`t booked it. The staff were very polite and nice whilst being approachable. Would recommend to anyone who wants a little bit of luxury at a reasonable price. We were also within walking distance of the swimming pool with spa, sauna & steam room (big fluffy towels provided) although I did use the compliemtary dressing gown to go to the swimming pool. Onsite security with cctv so you feel totally safe. Would definately stay here again!!

"Magical!"

We stayed here for our anniversary and my birthday celebration, the hotel itself is breathtaking, the room was huge and immaculate, the location couldn`t be more perfect and the staff were lovely, especially the evening staff. We felt relaxed and welcome even though the hotel itself is at such a high standard. We`re definitely coming back again! Wonderful!
