The hotel is well situated for transport links and within comfortable walking distance of the city centre. Unfortunately, the lack of double glazing means that there is constant rail and traffic noise throughout the day and night. If you stay here, invest in some Earplugs. Otherwise, a great place to stay when visiting Dublin.

"Good location, some problems with noise!!"

Good location, good staff, excellent restaurant and prices, but unless you can sleep through a vast amount of club music till late Id give it a miss, as its not the best value 3 star and we only slept because of the amount of drink we consumed!

"So friendly and helpful, the receptionists cannot do enough for you. "

My friend and i stayed in this hotel in order to see my son play in gig in Dublin. We were so impressed by the friendliness of the receptionists. The only slight problem is the noise from the bus station, but you have to expect that due to it`s location. The restaurant is also very good.

"Simple and uncomplicated"

The service, in particular the Dining room manageress was fantastic. Always a ready smile and nothing was of too much trouble. We could not fault it on anything. Nice compact rooms which were very comfortable. The Italian restaurant in the hotel was first class. Will definately stay there again.

I have no complaints about Isaacs hotel,would stay there again.It was very convenient to connolly station and easy to find.The receptionist was friendly and helpful,the rooms were comfotable,clean and had all the basic needs.Breakfast was simple but satisfactory.Overall basic but good.

"DO NOT STAY IN ROOM 123"

Recently stayed in Issacs when down in dublin for U2 concert. Great location for handiness to bus station. hotel basic and dated but clean. Unfortunately from about 8.00am onwards there was constant creaking above our room - at first we thought cleaner must have been cleaning room above us and walking back and forward in room over the creaky floor boards but it continued as we tried to sleep our hangovers off until checking out time at 11am - we figured there must be a set of stairs above that room that are very creaky!

An excellent location and little noise from traffic. Rooms were a little small but were clean and comfortably furnished. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served until 10.00 and was plentiful with a lot of variety. We left our bags there once we had checked out and came back for them 9 hours later and this greatly assisted us with or next journey. A great stay and I would happily recommend it to anyone and look forward to my next visit.

"woke up at 2am"

quite a lot of noise from outside, woke up at 2am from a prank caller saying they were reception, in the morning reception have no idea about this. nice and clean though and good breakfast service

The hotel was in a very good location for me, as I caught the bus from the airport to the bus station which is literally just cross the road from the hotel. i asked to change my room as there was a noisy pipe in the first room I was allocated. The staff were very helpful, and gave me another room immediately. All the staff did their best to help with any requests I had, and were courteous and efficient. Breakfast was extremely good, and overall I thought that this hotel was good value for money.

"Great location and free shuttle to and from airport"

The room was a bit of a disappointment in that it seemed quite tired with the decoration and it was extremely warm throughout our stay. However, this was our only gripe. The restaurant attached is lovely and really enjoyed our meal. Even has a good early bird offer up until 7.30pm

The service at the hotel was very good with very firiendly and helpful staff. The bar was also good with the prices of beer being better than local pubs! However the room did need a little TLC. In the bathroom the shower head & a light fitting was loose, as was several tiles. The bedroom had a lose curtain rail, holes in the wall where a sign used to be and a stained carpet. The window in the room could also only be opened a little which made the room very hot. That said I would still reuse the hotel again!

"Great hotel, great location, great service!!!"

The rooms were amazing, clean and spacious. Staff very friendly ad helpful. Location very good-opposite to the central bus station with the bus going from and to Dublin airport. The only issue was the breakfast which was the same every day but I gues that`s the way it is with all 3* hotels... Overall quality-EXCELLENT!

"Great stay"

Our room was clean and very comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The reaturant in the hotel turned out to do one of the best meal deals in DUblin. For 20 euro you could get a three course meal plus coffee, the standard of food was excellent and I recommend the chicken in a creamy pesto sauce. The house wine was excellent and at about 20 euro a litre was again one of the best deals in Dublin. The one down point was the trains going past but after a while you did not notice them so much. Where ever you go in the city there is noise from trains ,trams or pubs after all it is a busy city. The hotel is far enough out you do not have the problem of drunk revellers but close enough we could walk from the heart of the Temple Bar area (the main evening entertainment area) to our our hotel in 15 minutes.

"Not suitable for self drive, as the location is very difficult to find and parking very restricted"

The small dinning room means that the staff are under pressure to clear tables quickly. his was more noticable at breakfast where people were still eating starters when the main hot breakfast was `dumpted` on the table to get cold while the starter was finished. When I complained about this the staff became very difficult. I would not stop at this hotel again.

"Beautiful hotel, central location, friendly staff"

Whilst we booked a room at a discounted rate the room was beautiful and spotless. Breakfast was beautiful and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bar was lovely and the prices were much cheaper than Dublin`s pubs.

"GOOD LOCATION POLITE STAFF"

"VERY helpful staff "

The hotel is great value for money and was perfect for the business trip that I was on. The staff are extremely helpful and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything that we needed during our stay. We ate in the restaurant on the first night and the food was excellent. Again the restaurant staff were very helpful. We got lost on our way to the hotel on arrival and instead of just giving us directions a member of staff directed us until we reached our destination. The rooms are very clean and tidy and overall I would recommend the hotel to others.

Only problem was the noise from the nightclub. Staff very understanding and we were moved to a quieter room.

Nice, clean Hotel with very helpful staff. Just one real problem ,what we thought was a pillar in the corner of our room was obviously a pipe, when it rained on our last night we realised it was where the rain obviously went.

"Very pleasant stay"

Very pleased with the hotel. We stayed in room 223 which was a twin room but actually had a double and a single. Beds were comfortable and the hotel clean and welcoming. Staff were helpful, and we were able to leave our bags at reception at no charge after we checked out. Breakfast and evening meals were very nice, and I would happily recommend the hotel

"Very Nice Hotel"

Mysef and my Husband have just returned home today after spending three nights in the Isaacs Hotel, we found it very handy being across the road from the bus station, and it was central to every where we wanted to see. The staff in the reception and restaurant were very pleasant and friendly, we stayed there for three nights and the breakfasts they provided were excellent, I would recomend this Hotel for Location service and value for money

Only complaint was room at front and club next door very noisy at night. Noise went on till about 2 or 3 in morning on the saturday night friday slightly earlier. Breakfast very nice friday saturday but we had early flight on sunday and reception advised breakfast didn,t start till 8 am. even although hotel information said would be open for continental breakfast. We were offered a packed breakfast of 2 slices of bread with butter and jam, yogurt and orange, unfortunately one piece of bread had green mould starting to form. So went in bucket at airport. Disappointing. No one asked if we were happy with stay at hotel.
