Bar staff ignored money off voucher despite it being mentioned several times. Reception staff pleasant and welcoming. Room noisy due to generator outdoors. Room clean. Breakfast was basic. Too many staff stood around doing nothing. Hotel very clean though.

"Every member of staff we had dealings with were fantastic, couldn`t be more helpful. "
The breakfast was also very good with food for most tastes. Our only criticism was our room was a bit tired, it needed some TLC as there were niggling things wrong. Hotel brilliantly situated for visiting London sites very central.

"Few improvements req`d"
Big improvement since our last stay due to the renovations, however a few additions would make it an excellent hotel. (1) hooks in the bathroom and room to hang dressing gowns and make-up bags. (2) grab handles over the bath to aid getting in and out, this is a safety issue. (3) a box of tissues in the room. These additions would have gained an excellent rating, breakfast and location is very good.

"President Hotel"
This hotel is classed as 3*. I found this hard to believe as it is beautiful, spotlessly clean. Food was great also the service. A very high standard throughout the hotel at all times.Staff were always very polite and courteous.

"Disappointed "
My mum and o were disappointed with the friendlyness of the staff,they did not smile at all, the chef spent most of the time Woh arms crossed staring at everyone eating. We were also disappointed with the food quality for £14 mean I expected more vegetable choices instead of having mixed carrots beans and peas all mushy and limited choice. The food was cold ms the potato choice was limited. For a change hotel with a three Star plus rating I expected more. My experiences in other hotels with lower star have been better

"Good location for shows, with underground parking - the best"
High standard, good location, bed was a little un-comfy. I now try not to moan and find fault when staying away!! On checking out the reception were very professional and said we should have told them and they would have rectified. Staff and breakfast good. Will stay again and book as a package as this appears to be the most cost effective - Well done.

"Process v Customer Service"
Purchased as a present, for my Dad & Mom who tried to check in around 2pm but couldn`t and it took until after he got back from the show around 11pm to get in and sort out. Despite calls and emails (and promises to reply that never happened) had to wait a day before my Dad let me know everything was OK.

Great hotel. Have stayed a couple of times now. Hotel clean & modern. Staff very friendly & helpful. Breakfast varied and plenty. All in all a great hotel in a very central location. Will return again.

"This hotel is simply the best."
From check in to check out nothing is too much trouble for the excellent staff at the President hotel rooms clean and comfortable with everything you need, superb breakfast, this hotel really makes you feel welcome and at home, easy to see all the sights from location and some really good eateries within walking distance. The friend at hand pub just across the street from the hotel is great value for money on evening meals. All in all can`t wait to return for a fourth visit.

Good value with clean well decorated room: not big but larger than expected. Friendly staff. Breakfast felt `industrial` with no fruit except a bowl of mushy red berries.

Easy to find from directions. Room suitable for a couple of evenings, within walking distance to the theatres. A shame there was no thermastat for the heating and no fan within the bathroom. All in all a pleasant stay.

The hotel is just a short walk from the British Museum and about 25 minutes walk from the Lyric Theatre Breakfast is freshly cooked and plentiful The room was clean but had only two plug sockets

Full length mirror in rooms is needed. Mushrooms and herbal teas (for those of us who don`t drink milk) should be available with breakfast. Not impressed with the knock on door at 8.15am by cleaner who then proceeded to open our door while we were still in bed. Please check rooms are vacant first!

The reception staff, bed and the breakfast are all great. The only criticism is not having a spoon with the hospitality tray so very awkward manoeuvring a hot teabag with the supplied plastic stick. Otherwise would recommend this hotel and good value for money for Central London
