"Value for money, close to all attractions"

Room clean, bathroom clean and modern, staff friendly and helpful, cant see eiffel tower from hotel but it is literally round the corner, and anyway, why pay to see it from the hotel when you can walk to it in 10 mins and look at it all day?????? Great place, would stay again.

"The bathroom "

The bathroom very small and was in need of updating. It was cleaned but was rusty around the shower doors. The hotel itself was very good and clean. I would go again.

"Faulty Towers is a better description, but even then, that does not fully describe how bad it is"

Staff training in unhelpfulness is the best i have seen. To say you have no room, when you can see the booking is incredible, to then say yes you have a room, but you cannot have it as it is triple booked, is worse still, and then to just shrug the shoudlers and say "its not my problem" is just the pits. The worst hotel i have ever stayed in, in 18 years of travel

"Good position, rooms & breakfast good for Paris"

Relatively quiet location not far from metro station. Rooms small but adequate & breakfast was normal continental style but more than enough. Clean, small friendly hotel. Would recommend

"Desaster"

Avoid this Hotel at all costs! We had the worst rooms, worst customer experience imaginable. From an inexperienced receptionist to an arrogant manager with shitty rooms and no sound insulation in between, this is the armpit of Paris! Sheets so thin and beds worn through, rooms on street level with carpets so spotty a cat wouldn`t eat of it, not to mention that when the person in the room above you takes a leak, you cringe because it sounds as though he pisses right besideds your bed. If you have an enemy in life and want to get to him, buy him a night at the Beaugrenelle, he`ll know you really hate his guts!

"Convenient location"

The hotel is located in a convenient part of Paris with good Metro connections. The room was an acceptable size for Paris. Two lights in the room were out of order and I told reception about this on three separate occasions but nothing was done to fix them. We booked a double room which turned out to be a twin room. The breakfast left something to be desired. Cheese in pre-packed plastic was not very enticing. We were asked to wait ten minutes before being seated, even though it was within the timeframe for breakfast. One stay in the hotel was enough.

The staff were very friendly but the interior seemed abit run down in the rooms- the first room we went in had dirty sheets and towels from the last guests and the next room had leaks from the air conditioning unit they were fixing. Although these issues were quickly rectified by the hotel staff.

"Room smelled of cigarette smoke, fire alarm rang continuously in middle of night, ugly view."

Overall it was a huge disappointment. Awful concierge. Rooms were tiny and smelled of cigarette smoke. Had to pay for the room to be cleaned! Breakfast inedible. Situated next to a betting shop with horrid views. Generally staff really unhelpful.

"Fine, but won`t be returning in a hurry"

The hotel`s location is extremely convenient. Its a second walk to the nearest Metro station, and from there it is only stops away from the musee D`Orsay, Eiffel tower, Notre Dame, and Invalides. As for the hotel itself, the rooms are small and pokey, smell of stale cigarettes, and lack any distict sense of character. Having said that, the bathroom was very clean, as was the room. The area around the hotel, although near to the main sites, was not itself very pleasant. Drunken, singing tramps, urinating vagrants, and fist fights were all audible and visible from the comforts of our room. Its an ok place to stay if you in Paris for a fun night with your friends, but if you are there for a romantic holiday - forget it, try another hotel.

We have stayed in other 3* Hotels in the centre of Paris and in comparison this hotel lacked cleanliness to the rooms and especially to the bathrooms. Many of the items of furniture were worn and in need of replacing, the walls could have done with a coat of paint too. Breakfast was okay, although the space available was very limited during busy periods. There also seemed to a shortage of staff in the kitchen to keep up with the deamd of the guests. Friendly welcome and helpful reception staff. We would deffinitely be staying in the Eiffel Sienne *** again next time which is only a 5 minute walk away, very clean and luxurious in comparison.

"Room very small, very out of date. "

Not in a particularly nice part of town. The so called bar did not serve any beer/lager, only minatures and cans from a vending machine. The breakfast was supposed to be served until 10am but once basic food items had run out (usually before 9am) no more were put out. Everything seemed very below standard - more like a 2* hotel.

Nice & friendly staff, although one was particularly useless and didn`t know his job very well. Our room smelt like cigarettes even though we`d booked a non smoking. The breakfast was ok. Overall though it was a great location with plenty of restaurants & bars around.

"No view, construction site infront!, tiny rooms"

We booked a twin room. But the room we got was so small that the 2 separate beds were literally lying together!!! ...On opening the window, all you can see in front is a construction site, with dust n mud. But the reception staff was very helpful. They gave us wonderful directions to the major attractions. I wont recommend it! not a value for money!

"Well placed for Metro and Eiffel Tower made travelling easy."

Room was OK but could do with painting. We were out most of the day and hotel was quiet at night although there was some noise from the street but it didn`t stop me sleeping. Our best meal was from Bistro on corner opposite the metro. My husband has reduced mobility so we used metro for one or two stops back and forward to tower. You must be at the trocadero on the hour at night to see the lighting display.!!

"A lovely stay"

My husband and I really liked the Beaugrenelle. The staff were very friendly, the room was nice and comfortable (my husband suggests that perhaps the bed wasn`t designed for people of over 6 feet tall!). The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. We would definitely recommend the Beaugrenelle as a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the Eiffel Tower. If we revisit that part of Paris again, we`d be more than happy to stay there. "Ran out of food, particularly croissants, at breakfast. Staff very reluctantly bought more. "

Bedroom was on ground floor which only allowed, for security reasons, windows to be open with the exterior blind down: therefore no natural light. Breakfast was very disappointing due to lack of food.

The Beaugrenelle was exactly what we expected, clean with well furnished room and a good breakfast. Ideal for a few days break in Paris, only a 5-10 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower and about a 40 minute walk to the Champs Elysees, with plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach. We would definately go back to a nice hotel in a great city.

"good base from which to see Paris"

Although not up to its 3 star rating this is a friendly and efficient hotel. Really it is a bit more like a large B&B than a hotel. The rooms were adequate and a minor problem was sorted quickly - leaky shower in one room. It is about 150m from the metro and a 10-15 minute walk from the park below the Eiffel Tower. We walked it at 11pm and did not feel threatened at all. There were many friendly places to eat in the area - we started speaking in our limited French but their English was excellent. Breakfast was as expected - cereal, rolls, h.b eggs, ham, cheese and croissants. The dining room was small and hot but functional. Staff were friendly. We were able to leave baggage at the hotel on the day of checking out - we picked it up at 6pm. As a basic, clean place to stay, this is fine.

lovely hotel in a fabulpus position for all the sights - the Eiffel Tower only 10 mins walk and metro 2 mins away. Basement - for breakfast, smelt very damp so bit off putting, but food really lovely.Hotel a little tired and rooms cosy, but very good by Parisian standards. Would stay again. Many shops and good bars and restaurants near by.

I enjoyed my stay at the Beaugrenelle and it was very friendly but i was disapoint with a couple of things 1 was our bathroom it had no shower curtain and the shower didn`t run very well. Also disapointed with breakfast may be just some different types of foods so you can have more of a selection!

"Quiet location in the heart of Paris close to the tower and park."

Travel connection is excellent with the Dupliex metro station at the end of the Rue. Rooms are small but comfortable, clean and tided every day. No views of Paris though. Staff are friendly, helpful and speak good English. We stayed here for a long weekend and will use this hotel again. The price is reasonable for the location and quality of rooms.

"Accomadation was dirty, left after one day"

I would not reccomend this to my worst enemy. The rooms were poor, hotel smelled of damp. Decor was a though back to 1960`s. Checked out within 24hr`s. Only postive was 10 mins walk to Eifel Tower

"Uncomfortable but handy for Eiffel tower"

We found the hotel room a bit tired; the "marble" bathroom had loose "marble" tiles and not what you would call spotlessly clean. Very cramped bedroom and no tea/coffee making facilities for that first cuppa in the morning - instead a mini bar. Breakfast was served in the basement and it certainly felt like a basement. Staff pleasant though no response to our complaint that the shaver socket did not work. All that said, it was within a short walking distance to the E. Tower.
