"Comfort, tranquility, indulgent."
Really enjoyed my stay its a great hotel with all the facilities you need and some you don`t. It`s an hour out of central London but I thought that actually made the stay more enjoyable and I certainly did not suffer because of it. The only complaint I have (if you can call it that) was that my daughter wanted to iron something before we went out; now the hotel provided an iron and the room had an integrated ironing board, so it couldn`t be moved but the socket`s to plug the ironing were at the other side of the room, so a little more forethought would not go a miss.

"Poor service. CHeap and Tacky. "
Room: Small and awkward. The bed moved freely around. Two thin pillows for two adults!? Broken toilet seat. Missing shelf from the bathroom. Only given tea and milk when ASKED for it. Still forgot the sugar. Fridge door wouldn`t close. Requested extra pillows, arrived in bed sheets as no pillow cases left. Will never use again and will warn others.

"Bedroom was lovely. Shower really nice. Bar staff great but reception staff very rude!"
We had a refurbished room on the top floor which was really nice. Well appointed, nice bed and TV. Shower was excellent and bathroom very nice in general. Very strange place though. The bits of the hot that have been refurbished are great but they other areas are very shabby like the stairwells and lift area. The bar and restaurant staff were very friendly. Reception staff were almost funny. So rude and stern. Felt like I was back in school!

"GOOD BUT......."
GOOD NIGHT - EXCELLENT FACITLITES BUT WE HAD A GROUP OF CHILDERN STAYING NEXT TO US IN ONE ROOM AND THEIR OTHER ROOM WAS OTHER SIDE OF HALLWAY AND THEY KEPT TALKING THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT AND MORNING TOO!! WE MADE A OOMPLAINT AND ALTHOUGH SOMEONE DID COME TO TELL THEM TO QUIET DOWN THEY CONTINUED AFTER A SHORT WHILE.

"Really Good Value."
For what we paid for our two night stay The Continental was very good value. The room was small but comfortable and our interactions with staff were all positive. Overall it was a pleasant stay, 1 minute from Hounslow Central tube, so 20 mins from central London where the hotels cost at least twice as much!

"Good hotel with great additional facilities"
Gym and pool plus restaurant which was reasonably priced. Room looking a little tired but bed comfortable for us and we slept well. I had some difficulty with the shower which would benefit from some instructions nearby. You have to be stood u der the flow when adjusting which for me was very cold and I gave up. My husband however had no problem with it. Staff polite and helpful. Parking was next to the hotel and the cost was fifteen pounds for twenty four hours. We would stay here again.

"The room had damp and they take £50 deposit for no reason."
Shocking hotel. How on earth is this classed as a 4 star. There was damp in the room. When I checked in there was a de-humidifier in the room left on which was removed when I popped out for dinner. Even though I had pre paid for the hotel I was forced to pay another £50 just incase I decided I wanted any food or extras, which apparently will be refunded. Joke! The whole place was a joke. Wouldn`t go back!

"Nice staff, nice location, nice price"
I enjoyed my stay, close to the Main Street. Only thing that was a bummer was the fire alarm went off like 6 times for no reason. Sometimes at 5am waking us up. No other issues though. I felt bad cuz I had to leave in a hurry and left the room a bit messy. My apologies to the staff. But I would definitely stay again if ever in Hounslow

"Dust all on the floor arround the units, toilet not clean"
previous peoples underwear (boxers) left in the draw, which put me off wanting to eat in the room, paper pad had a chewed pencil with no rubber or lead as if someone had been butting it, so couldn`t use them, cleaner was just cleaning the the room and not saying a word, no hi hello or a fair well just nothing, don`t think she understood English as I spoke she hummed, places our tooth brushes in cups and moving my personal belongings,paid £15 to park went to the shop and had no parking spaces to come back to was told they run out in both car parks, ask for an iron had to call 3 times to be told I will have to wait they will look soon so overall bad experience paid way to much money for what I got was a total of £161 terrible some money back would be nice for my experience and service I received

"Wonderful staff, fantastic welcome"
Roomy accommodation, well placed near the underground. Great view and not to noisy. Well cooked breakfast. Friendly professional staff. Comfortable bed and great shower. Let down by broken heating in the room and looking a little tired. provided the heating was fixed, would go there again.

"Condinsation, elevator and room service "
The inside of our window there was a puddle in the mornings. The elevator was out of service and the breakfast was cold by the time it arrived in our room. That`s the bad things done the hotel overall was lovely, the staff were very helpfull the restaurant was worth the stay and the spa area was brilliant.

"Good value for money"
Clean modern room of a good size, clean modern bathroom with brilliant shower. Good breakfast included in the price. Very friendly staff. Very close to tube station (1 mins walk) with Piccadilly Line straight into Central London (approx 40mins). Car parking at hotel. Would definitely use again.

"OK for a overnight stay, but not 4 star !"
Hotel rooms are in need of some attention - first room allocated had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, ok if you are a smoker, however, we are not, and the hotel is supposed to be non-smoking:. The second room had issues with damp and mold, in particular around the windows. The breakfast was good and the hotel location was ideal for the tube travel into central London.

"Not a 4 star hotel at all"
Room was clean and spacious and bathroom was lovely but toiletries were seriously lacking and grouting on tiles was coming off on bath mat. Only one lift for entire hotel which can only fit 3 people. Not a lot of privacy as we could hear other people`s conversations in next room. Restaurant is over priced and we had to send food back as it was raw. Waitresses were very nice but their English was poor so couldn`t communicate orders properly.

"Overall, a good hotel. "
Price was very reasonable, however I felt parking overnight was overpriced. Room was lovely. Restaurant was superb! Some language barriers.... Called housekeeping for an iron and ironing board, received a heater?? And I`d foolishly forgotten toothpaste, but they`d ran out of their dental packs (own fault really). Bed was comfortable but they need new pillows. Nice and quiet, minimal noise from rooms and hallway, BUT the fire alarms went off at 4am due to some idiot smoking in his room, again not really the hotels fault, but it ruined what had otherwise been a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. Would probably stay here again, if car park prices were reduced.

"Great for weekend trips into London"
lovely staff, great shower (if a little dirty at first), very very comfy bed although the heating gave my girlfriend a headache from being too warm. The breakfast was great even towards the last few servings - nice and hot, well stocked. I felt the parking was a little expensive for what it was. Overall good value for money - great location for hounslow central underground

I arrived there Sunday afternoon. Receptionist were very kind. The room was newly furbished and very nice. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was goo. I will return.

"Good for the money"
We got the hotel on a low price deal. Very low for London. Although out in Hounslow, the hotel is next to the tube station. The staff are friendly and the place seemed relaxed in general. Breakfast was good value. The room was spacious and well equipped with wifi and TV. Probably the only problem with the hotel is that the decor, fixtures and fittings are getting pretty tired. No real complaints, as we had a good deal, but the overall appearance of the rooms and hallways needs a good overhaul.

"Needs refurb"
Fantastic location for visiting London, restaurant excellent food and service. Room was ok, but was let down by very poor bathroom and soiled carpets. The tiles in the bathroom were stained and loose and when you walked on them dirty water rose from the grout areas. The hair dryer didn`t work, it just heated up and smelt of burning. Shame because with a little bit of refurbishment and care this could be a good hotel.

"Smokers in a room = unwanted fire alarm wake up call"
The stay was pretty average. Just what you`d expect from a hotel. Bed, bathroom, bar. No real complaints but at the same time nothing that stood out as beyond what you would expect. The guinness in the bar was literally the joint worst pint of Guinness I`ve ever had (and I`ve had a few thousand over the years) and the fire alarm going off at 7am was not appreciated. When I enquired they said someone was smoking in a room but besides the smell they couldn`t prove anything so nothing more was done. The parking is a plus and location in respect to the tune station was great. Nice hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.

"Not a 4star hotel more like 2star"
Tired hotel bathroom filed with limescale felt digusted havibg to touch the taps had gone green with mould and linescale cleaner do not clean the bathroom which was visable the toilet seat was stain as its dry wiped not sprayed minibar in the room was empty only good thing was the location staff were misrable and unhelpful the travellodge and days inn across the road looked better requested a change of room only to be told they were fully booked when checked online they had rooms available

"Value for money for Twickenham events"
managed to book hotel on day of stay and as we arrived late evening we asked for an upgrade on room which was accepted. Staff were pleasant and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Will use in future for Rugby matches.
