The 3* Ibis London City Shoreditch has 348 compact rooms with contemporary décor and modern ensuite bathrooms. In-room amenities include 26inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities. Buffet breakfast (when selected) is served every morning in the hotel`s lobby restaurant and bar area. Although evening meals are not presently available, the local area has plenty of restaurants offering many different cuisines, Reception staff will be happy to give recommendations. The hotel`s bar is open throughout the day, it`s comfortable seating and quirky décor make it an ideal spot to relax after a busy day.

Hotel and location:

Located just a 1 minute walk from Aldgate East Tube station and 10 minutes from Liverpool Street Station, the 3* Ibis London City Shoreditch is a great location from which to explore the capital. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are both less than 20 minutes walk from the hotel and St Paul`s Cathedral is just 15 minutes away. For panoramic views across London, the Sky Garden (free to enter, though booking is essential) is a 14 minute walk. Leicester Square and London`s Theatreland are easily accessed by tube to Embankment (1 stop) which is also a short walk to Trafalgar Square.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: From any mainline railway station take the Underground to Aldgate East which is serviced by the District Line & the Metropolitan Line. Leave the station and walk north-east on Whitechapel Hight Street towards Commercial St. Turn left onto Commercial Street and the hotel will be on the left.
BY CAR: Heading west on the M25 exit at junction 24 at the A111 exit to Potters Bar. At Potters Bar Interchange, take the 5th exit onto the M25 slip road to Harlow/M11/Dartford Tunnel/M20. After 0.7 miles merge onto M25 and continue for the next 12.5 miles. At Junction 27, take the M11(N) exit to Cambridge/Stansted Airport/Harlow and continue for 0.2 miles. Keep right at the fork follow signs for M11(S)/London(NE) and merge onto M11. Continue for 7.6 miles and at Junction 4, take the A406(S) exit to N Circular/A12/A13 and after a further 0.5 miles merge onto N Circular Rd/A406. Stay on this route for 1 mile and at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto A13 slip road to Central London/Isle of Dogs/Canary Wharf. Keep right at the fork to continue on A13 following signs for Central London/Isle of Dogs/Canary Wharf. After 2.6 miles make a slight right onto Newham Way/A13. Continue to follow A13 onto East India Dock Rd/A1261 and after 0.5 miles make a slight right onto Aspen Way/A1261. After 0.7 miles keep right to continue on Limehouse Link Tunnel/A1203 and follow this route for 2 miles. Turn right onto Cannon St Rd/B108 and after 0.4 miles left onto Commercial Road/A13. After a further 0.4 miles turn left onto Whitechapel High Street/A11 and then right onto Commercial Street where the hotel will be on the left.
