Hotel and location:
The 3* Kingscliff Hotel sits in a prominent position on the seafront, offering uninterrupted views out to sea and is an ideal location for guests wishing to experience the traditional British seaside. With plenty of free parking, it is also the ideal base from which to visit this stretch of the east coast. Clacton Railway Station is also only 5 minutes by taxi from the hotel. Clacton`s iconic pier with traditional amusement arcades is just 1.6 miles along the seafront (5 minutes drive or a scenic 30 minute walk). Other seaside towns such as Frinton-on-Sea are just 5 minutes drive from the hotel.
Getting there:
BY ROAD: Heading west on M25, take the exit at Junction 24 for Potters Bar. At the roundabout take the 5th exit onto the M25 slip road to Harlow/M11/M20 and after 0.6 miles merge onto the M25. Continue on for the next 20.6 miles and then at Junction 28, use the left lane to exit towards A12/Chelmsford E/A1023/Brentwood/London/Romford. Keep left as the road forks and follow signs for Chelmsford/A12 and merge onto A12. After 40 miles use the left lane to take the A1232/A120 slip road to Colchester N/Clacton/Harwich. Keep right to continue on A120 for the next 5.5 miles. Make a slight left and after 1.4 miles at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A133. After 3.4 at the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on A133. Go through the next roundabout and after another 1.2 miles at the roundabout take the 2nd exit onto St Johns`s Road/B1027. Follow this road and then at the roundabout take the 1st exit onto Valley Road/B1027. Go through a further 2 roundabouts and then take a left turn onto Holland Road/B1032. Turn right onto Kings Avenue and the right again onto Kings Parade and the hotel will be on your right.
