The Show
Fame tells the story of a group of vibrant, bold and energetic performing-arts students that are all unique and aiming for the stars. Carmen, Schlomo, Nick, Serena, Josť, Jack, Mabel, Iris, Grace and Goodman all audition for the chance to study at New York City's High School of Performing Arts. Throughout their journeys their lives become more entwined and they learn that getting to the top isn't so simple when life distractions are in their way. Fame the Musical ties in acting, singing and dancing in a fantastic way. This musical also brings together a group of individuals and shows that there is more to people than what meets the eye.

History of Fame the Musical
Fame the Musical was first made as a film of the same name in 1980. After being a cinematic hit and then being developed into a six season tv series, Fame took the stage. It was re-written from previous adaptations and had a new score. Since then it has travelled the world and has been shown in places like Thailand, Brazil, Athens and Poland. It first premiered in London's West End in 1995 and has been in seven different theatres around the city since. Many performers including Noel Sullivan and Barbara Dickson have stared in Fame at London's West End.
