Killer Joe
The Show
Orlando Bloom of "Lord Of The Rings" and "Pirates Of The Caribbean" fame, stars as the title character in Tracy Letts' Killer Joe. When lowlife Chris finds himself in deep water and owing a group of local thugs $6,000 he comes up with a plan to save his own skin. His estranged mother has to die so that they can collect her life insurance policy. Along with his trailer trash father Ansel and his new wife Sharla they decide to hire a hitman. Killer Joe Cooper is a cheery police detective who supplements his wage with his part-time hitman position. Unfortunately there is more to Killer Joe and when he demands his fee up front everything takes a sharp decline and Chris can only offer his emotionally stunted sister Dottie as collateral. Please be aware the show encompasses extreme violence and nudity, audiences may find some scenes disturbing and the show is only recommended for mature audiences of at least 16+. The appearance of any member of cast is subject to change and is never guaranteed.
