Life of Pi is coming to the West End. The story follows Pi, a 16-year-old who finds himself in the middle of the ocean after the ship he was on sinks. Adrift on a small boat, Pi must keep his wits about him to avoid exposure, thirst, hunger and being eaten by a Bengal tiger that happens to be sharing the same boat. Head to the West End to see this beautiful story transformed for the stage.

History of Life of Pi
Life of Pi was originally a fantasy adventure written in 2001 by Yann Martel. The novel has sold over ten million copies worldwide even after being rejected by publishers five times. 11 years later in 2012 the book took to the big screen, Life of Pi directed by Ang Lee was well received and won four Academy Awards including Best Director. The play came before the film however and was originally performed in Bradford, England, in 2003 before touring between 2004 and 2007. The new adaption however was performed in Sheffield this June and will now be coming to the West End for 2020.
