The Band
The Show
A musical experience you'll never forget - The Band is headed for London's West End!
Inspired by the original music of Take That, this emotional rollercoaster tells the story of five teenage girls who idolise their favourite boyband. Twenty-five years on, the group of girls who were once inseparable reunite aiming to fulfil their dream of meeting their heroes from the boyband whose music became the soundtrack to their lives.
Written by Tim Firth and co-produced by the original members of Take That, the musical celebrates how music defines our lives and how it can take us through our best and darkest times. The cast of The Band features the winners from the 2017 BBC reality television show Let It Shine.
The show is bursting with spectacular big hits from Take That, including Never Forget, Greatest Day, Back for Good, A Million Love Songs, Relight My Fire, Shine, The Flood and Rule the World.

History of The Band
In 2017, BBC One broadcast a talent contest entitled Let It Shine to discover five performers to play the boyband in the musical. The show with Gary Barlow on the judging panel ran for 8 weeks, with Five to Five being crowned winners of the contest.
The Band premiered at The Manchester Opera house in September 2017 and has since toured 14 venues across England, Scotland and Wales. It became the fastest selling musical theatre tour of all time and will now be transferring to London's West End.
