The Show
West End star and award-winning artist Beverly Knight comes back to the West End, in The Drifters Girl. The new musical follows the story of celebrated soul group The Drifters and manager, Faye Treadwell. Faye was the first African-American, female music manager and will stop at nothing to get her group to the top. Through worldwide tours, chart-topping records, legal battles and personal tragedy, Faye's passion to overcome all makes her The Drifters Girl. Featuring much loved songs such as "Stand by Me", "Under the Boardwalk" and "Save the Last Dance for Me" this new musical promises to get your toes tapping whilst pulling at your heartstrings.

History of The Drifters Girl
The new musicals is being directed by Jonathan Church along with design by Anthony Ward, a book by Ed Curtis and choreography by Karen Bruce. The musical has yet to take to the stage but follows the story and music of The Drifters and Faye Treadwell. The American vocal group, formed in 1953, were famed for R&B and soul music, the band managed six number ones in their time including "There goes my Baby" and "Money Honey".
