The Show
Arthur Miller is taking the stage by storm in 2019 with regenerated plays of All My Sons and the American Clock. So, if you are already in love with his plays or fancy expanding your theatrical experiences then The Price is one to go and see. Set in America after the great depression, New York Cop Victor Franz is trying to sell his late parent?s possessions from their estate. However, after years of separation Victor?s brother Walter re-enters his life with his own plans. Victors wife and a dodgy furniture dealer both step forward with their own hidden agendas. However, fate has brought them together and Victor looks back on his life to try and find the answers and reasonings for the choices that he has made and the prices he has had to pay.

History of The Price
The Price is a play by Arthur Miller that first premiered on Broadway in 1968 and had 144 performances before leaving the stage. Nonetheless the play came back to life 5 more times between the late 1970?s all the way through to its re-opening in 2019 along with a television adaptation in 1971. It has been nominated for many awards from the Best play to best revival. The story follows a tragic turn of events for lead character Victor, however, features slapstick comedy and drama as the story unwinds.
