Following a total refurbishment in 2018, all of the 81 rooms at The Yorkshire Hotel are well proportioned and individually designed. The ensuite bathrooms are modern in style and have complimentary H2K toiletries. In-room facilities include, flat-screen TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, hairdryers and tea & coffee making facilities. Although the hotel is in the town centre, many of the hotel rooms overlook The Stray, the town`s peaceful parkland. There are also views from the hotel`s bar and lounge where sandwiches and light meals are served throughout the day. The Scran Restaurant serves Full English Breakfast (please select a breakfast inclusive room should you want to include breakfast) every day as well as an a la carte menu of contemporary British dishes.

Hotel and location:

The 4* Yorkshire Hotel in the centre of historic Harrogate, which was refurbished in 2018, has an imposing Victorian facade and many original features throughout the hotel. Both leisure and business visitors to Harrogate will find the hotel an ideal location to stay. The hotel is conveniently close to the Harrogate Convention Centre which is less than 10 minutes walk away and Harrogate railway station is just 5 minutes on foot. The town of Harrogate is one of the UK`s famous Spa Towns and visitors can enjoy the Turkish Baths and Pump Rooms for historic tours as well as take treatments and sample the Spring Waters. Harrogate is also a great destination for those who enjoy strolling historic cobbled streets and browsing antique shops. The town is also well known for it`s cafe`s and tea rooms which are also within walking distance of the hotel.

Getting there:

BY TRAIN: Leaving Harrogate Railway Station turn left towards James Street and then make a right turn onto James Street. After 0.1 miles take a left turn onto Prospect Place and the hotel will be on your left.
BY ROAD: From M1 Junction 46 take the B1224 exit for Wetherby & York. After approximately 9.5 miles take the 1st exit from the roundabout onto B1224 and continue for 0.5 miles and take the 3rd roundabout exit onto Deighton Bank/A168. Take the next left turn onto Mark Lane and then turn right onto Main Street/B6164. Continue to follow B6164 for 1 mile and then turn left onto The Green. Continue onto Spofforth Lane which after 0.5 miles turns slightly left and becomes West Lane. Continue onto Deighton Road and then turn right onto Harrogate Road/A661. After approximately 2 miles at Empress Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Knaresborough Road/A6040. After about 1 mile at Price of Wales Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto West Park/A61 and continue on for 0.4 miles to make a right turn onto Cambridge Road. Almost immediately turn right onto James Street and then right again onto Prospect Place, where the hotel will be on your left.
