up to 4 people can be accommodated in a 2 bedroomed apartment. A 5th person can be accommodated in a 2 bedroomed apartment at a supplement.

The Holyrood ApartHotel has 47 modern contemporary apartments, refurbished in 2024, Studio Double for 2 people, a spacious 2 Bedroom Apartment with a mix of double or twin beds for up to 4 guests, an extra bed for a 5th guest is available at a supplement (must be requested). All include flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi and fully equipped kitchen and seating area. Some are also air-conditioned. PLEASE NOTE:From 24.07.26 Visitor Levy of 5% of the room rate is payable on arrival at the hotel
Hotel and location:
The Holyrood ApartHotel offers guests spacious, serviced apartments just off the historic Royal Mile and less than 10 minutes walk from Waverley Station. Close by is The Palace of Holyrood House, a little further up the Royal Mile is Edinburgh Castle and also some of the most interesting Haunted Walks.
Getting there:
BY TRAIN: From Waverley Station, exit via Market Street. Cross at pedestrian crossing directly outside Train Station, turn left and continue along Jeffrey Street until you meet The Royal Mile. Turn left and continue down the Royal Mile approx 5 minutes, heading towards Holyrood Palace. On the right hand side you will see an archway called Bakehouse Close, walk through for the hotel.
BY ROAD: Follow the signs to city centre of Edinburgh, drive down Dalkeith Road which becomes St Leonards Street which then becomes The Pleasance, continue to junction at bottom of the hill turn right at the lights into Holyrood Road. Turn left at next traffic lights into Hammermans Entry, follow the road round to the end and you will see the car park entrance gate.(Press security buzzer for entry. PLEASE NOTE: From 24.07.26 Visitor Levy of 5% of the room rate is payable on arrival at the hotel
