The 3* Portico Hotel (formerly the Hanover Hotel) which has been fully refurbished in 2019 has 24 rooms decorated to a high standard with a blend of traditional elegance and contemporary style. All rooms feature comfy Hypnos beds, flat-screen Digital TV, free Wi-Fi, hairdryers and tea & coffee making facilities. Ensuite bathrooms have power shower and complimentary Cole & Lewis of London toiletries. A `Grab & Go` breakfast is included in the room rate and is ideal for those guests who are on the move in the morning. Typically, it includes an orange juice carton, muffin, fruit and healthy yoghurt bar. The hotel has a lounge area with television and vending machine selling snacks and drinks as well as 24-hour reception for your convenience. The hotel is situated on St. George`s Drive, a quiet residential street with several private gardens nearby and just a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station. Housed in a mid-Victorian building, that was originally constructed in 1859 and has been home to several illustrious families from Britain, the current décor elegantly combines tradition with modern day conveniences. Some of London`s most popular tourist attractions are within easy walking distance of the Hanover Hotel Victoria with Buckingham Palace, The House of Parliament, Big Ben, London Eye and Tate Britain all within a 30 minute walk. With its close proximity to Victoria`s Coach, Train and Underground stations guests will have fantastic access to transport such as the Gatwick Express and will find that the whole of the capital`s sights is within easy reach. BY TRAIN: From Victoria Train Station. Leave the main entrance of Victoria Station and turn right onto Hudson Place. Veer right onto Bridge Place, and left, then right onto Ecclestone Square. Turn left again to stay on Ecclestone Square. Continue onto St George`s Drive and the hotel will be on your left.
BY COACH: From Victoria Coach Station. Head northeast on Buckingham Palace Road toward Elizabeth Bridge. Turn right onto Elizabeth Bridge and continue onto Ecclestone Square. Continue onto St George`s Drive and the hotel will be on your left.

"Swanky decor but had issues"
Room was really smart but we were on the lower ground floor and there was an awful smell. Hotel staff gave us some air freshener but that did not help. Also had work being done so we had to go to another hotel for the continental breakfast which was not ideal in the middle of Storm Dennis.

"Compact but clean & comfortable"
Booked advance twin room although we were given a small family room ,however this was still perfect for us Not huge but very comfortable, clean with immaculate shower , everything you need for an overnight stay. Friendly reception staff, adequate & unlimited breakfast with lots of choice, easy walk from Victoria station. Would definitely stay here again.

"Lovely clean hotel "
Me my wife and my mum recently stayed in the hotel in a triple room. The hotel is stunning. Very trendy and stylish. Has everything you need. The staff were really friendly, especially the lady on reception. Walking distance of the coach station and easy enough to go and sightsee around London. As the hotel was getting back refurbished the breakfast was in the hotel across the road. Again we could not fault the food it was lovely and made for a fabulous stay

"Clean and comfortable."
Our triple bedroom had excellent beds and clean linen. The shower room was clean and modern. We would have liked more room as the one wardrobe was good for coats but the rest of our clothes had to stay in our cases, which just about fitted in the limited space. Good tea-making facilities. Continental breakfast served across the street in another hotel. The room was cold on our last morning and heating thermostat (set at 32C when we arrived!) didn`t seem to have much effect. Good location. Good value for money.

"Nice clean and comfy"
The hotel was clean comfy and all you need for a night or two stay. Breakfast not great but Wetherspoons round the corner . Overall hotel I would definitely use again !

Very comfortable and clean, as most reviews, the shower was excellent. The Hotel was not quite finished from the refurbishment but it wasn`t a problem. Only small constructive criticism was the cups are too small in the room. Need MUGS! Staff friendly and helpful

"Portico hotel"
The hotel was quite nice , we was in the loft room so had to go up 85 steps but the room was comfortable and clean . Doing a refurbishment atm so had to go for breakfast over the road . It was ok but not what I was expecting . Would go back again but in a room nearer the ground. Certainly wouldn`t be easy to get out if there was a fire .
