"Comfortable and well situated"
The Burns has comfortable room and is in a good location for quick access to the City. Breakfast could include better fruit and bread but on the whole very acceptable.

The hotel was good quality although, being an older building, the floors creaked a lot. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The area was also reasonably quiet being about 10 minutes by tube away from the centre.

"Good location, "
One night stay - room small but clean and well-equipped. Bathroom door wouldn`t shut properly. On lower ground floor so room a bit dark, and didn`t smell too fresh. Ordered a summer special baguette-would have broken my teeth as bread so hard! Got a refund. Breakfast fine. Great location, close to tube station. Average and expensive for room only (£73)

Enjoyed our stay, the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The only reason we did not give excellent was that the rooms wallpaper was a bit shabby particularly the ceiling. Otherwise l would recommend as a place to stay.

A nice hotel in a great location, very convenient for both the tube and overground trains (especially handy as our stay coincided with a tube strike). Although the decor was perhaps a little tried, the hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.
