Good Clean hotel in busy part of the city. Staff were very polite and professional. Like most other central Edinburgh Hotel`s though the room rate is overpriced.

"Good hotel for Hen and Stag do`s"
This hotel is in an ideal place of Edinburgh. Really close to all the bars and lovely restaurants. It`s failry noisy though and there is a bar underneath it (it`s actually next door) but with us being on the first floor we could hear lots of noise. Luckily we were out most of the time enjoying the nightlife so it didnt bother us too much. Nice members of staff and clean and tidy room if not pretty but you get what you pay for.

"Great location"
Very friendly staff, fantstic location and a great (huge!) scottish breakfast in Biddy`s next door. Really good value, although I`m sure prices rocket throughout August for the festival and New Year for Hogmanny.

"way overpriced"
Had booked two nights at this hotel whilst on a weekend trip. The reception along with our room, is in total need of a total overhaul. Nothing in this this place would lead me to stay again or even reccomend it to anyone. We didnt even stay the the second night and chose to drive the 360miles home instead. Premier Inn next time, much nicer and cheaper.A Brown

"Good value for your money"
If you are looking a cheap hotel with a good bed and a clean washroom, this is a good option. Location is great, just steps from the Royal Mile and the Castle and all the small bars and restaurants...Nothing fancy but it worked for me
