"Dublin delight"
Had a great 2 nights at this hotel. Perfect location to explore the city. Staff are funny and freindly. We would stay here again.

"Hotel situated in an excellent location quite near to the Temple Bar area, shops and bus service. "
The hotel itself was clean and tidy, excellent breakfast and staff very pleasent. Live music and Irish dancing each night which made it the perfect hotel and a `must` for visitors. The room and bathroom we stayed in was clean but required refurbuishment as the bathroom door would not close properly, TV was old, channels limited and bad reception. Having said all that, the hotel was satisfactory but could have been better.

"Great Stay at the Arlington"
Have just returned from a five day stay at the Arlington OConnell and have to say that nothing was too much trouble for the staff there. My friend and myself were there celebrating our birthdays and when we asked for a room upgrade the staff there assured us they would do all they could and a short time later we were given a bigger room with a view over the river. The hotel itself is in an ideal location and the entertainment they provide is excellent, we loved their traditional Irish night. All staff were attentive but we would like to thank Susan especially as she went above and beyond.

"Great staff."
Overall a good hotel. Our main problem was our room (218) which overlooked a very noisy service road plus the room was so hot we had to keep the window open through the night so couldn`t shut the noise out. The curtains let a lot if light in around the sides and top too. Staff here are really helpful and courteous. Bar snacks and meals are good and the breakfast is too. Overall a decent hotel.

"hotel looking a bit tired"
staff were absolutely brilliant, very helpful and friendly. my room was ok but feel the rooms are a bit tired looking. my friends rooms were horrendous, very hot, no air con, my daughter`s room was awful small shower no bath, and shower curtain kept sticking to her body and shower head you couldnt move so had to wash hair even if you didnt want to, therefore my daughter and husband came to my room for a bath and to cool down. the hotel entertainment was brilliant and in a great location

STAYED HERE FOR 2 NIGHTS TO SEE A BAND AT THE DUBLIN ACADEMY. GREAT LOCATION JUST 5 MINS WALK TO THE ACADEMY AND IDEAL LOCATION FOR TEMPLE BAR AREA, BOAT AND BUS TRIPS. ROOMS ARE A LITTLE TIRED AND THE BATHROOM COULD HAVE DONE WITH A REVAMP IF NOT A GOOD BLEACHING! BUT BREAKFAST AND BAR AREAS ARE GOOD AND WE ENJOYED OUR STAY IN DUBLIN..

"Great Location "
Staff were very helpful, only problem was no water in the sink taps and nothing was done in three days ! The Irish dancing show was very entertaining and the food was excellent, we would stay there again!

A great place to stay right at the heart of the city, easy walking distance to the attractions, shopping centre and Temple Bar. The hotel staff were all polite and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms fairly basic but clean, you have all you need.

"Very good value for a centrally located hotel"
Room comfortable and clean. We had a triple room with single beds which were roomy. Breakfast was particularly good. Buffet with wide choice of foods and food hot and nicely cooked. Easy access to Dublin and all it had to offer.

"Excellent Hotel"
The Arlington Hotel is a fabulous place to stay.We only stayed for one night but enjoyed it very much. It is situated in the heart of the city and within easy reach of everything.The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast very enjoyable.All of the staff there are most pleasant and very helpful.I would definitely recommend it and would most certainly stay there again if I was in Dublin.Well Done!

The Arlington hotel is in a prime location overlooking the river Liffey we stayed for two nights in room 135 on the first floor the Liffey suite room was spacious and clean but was in need of a facelift, bathroom was old with wash basin cracked and rusty towel rails, breakfast was excellent plenty of choice and ample portion size. I would recommend this hotel if you are not bothered about ultra modern shiny rooms the staff are fantastic and couldn`t do enough for you so overall it is a great hotel that just needs a bit of money spending on decor.

"Great Staff "
My Wife, Daughter and I went for a short break and found this hotel to be very enjoyable. It is perfectly located to allow you to walk around all the city center attractions. The staff are very helpful and we also saved a lot of money on parking as the hotel offers a heavily discounted rate for a local car park. The breakfast was pretty standard though a a decent quality and the only thing I could complain about was that our room was located close to the lift and the bells when the doors opened where quite loud and did make getting off to sleep a little irritating. I would highly recommend this hotel for a short city break.

"Excellent location with friendly and helpful staff"
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Arlington O`Connell. The staff were very helpful and let us leave our cases in a locked room as we arrived too early to check in. The rooms were spacious and clean and nothing was too much trouble when we asked for more coffee and milk for our room. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food on offer and the staff very friendly. We also ate from the bar menu one evening and were again offered a varied menu which was very tasty. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends. Thank you for a short but very enjoyable stay.

"Perfect location, very friendly staff"
I booked this hotel for my daughters and cousin as a treat and though I did not stay there myself they had a wonderful time. The hotel was in a perfect location and I was extremely impressed with their comments about staff. Normally with a group of young girls they get `short shrift` from staff but the hotel staff were so polite and kind to them. Will definitely book again!

Hotel was awesome to stay in. Good location, fantastic bar. There`s an American chick (New York) working there who literally couldn`t do enough for you, she was a gem! All in all, a brilliant place to visit.

"Very good hotel in an excellent location."
This is a stag party review. This hotel is perfect. Excellent location, rooms are clean, staff are friendly and breakfast is good. Bathrooms in the rooms could do with a bit of a refurb and the shower had no pressure (no big deal). Excellent bar/restaurant connected to the hotel for you to start your day and not even a 5 minute walk to temple bar area. I would recommend this hotel even for non-stag parties as the night security was very good I there was never any trouble, may be a little noisy until the bar next door closes depending on your room location.

My wife and I only stayed fro two nights for her birthday, we both wish we`d stayed for longer. Everyone was really friendly and helpful, the food was good and the evening entertainment was excellent. Thank you every body.

"Hotel was clean and staff pleasant. Close to city centre."
Located just over O`Connell Bridge on the Liffy the hotel was easy to find and get to/from the city centre. Clean and pleasant staff who were helpful. Good free wifi signal and speed. TV could have been a bit bigger in addition to wall brackets that could allow for the TV position to be adjusted. Was on the 2nd floor so did hear some of the evening`s activities regarding live music but did not interrupt sleep. Lift was close to room so heard it every time it arrived at my floor and vending machine in hall was just outside my room, so could hear other guests purchasing items. In general good and would stay there again.
