"Friendly Excellence "

All staff were very friendly and professional cannot fault the device at all. Excellent breakfast and room was of a high standard and very clean. At bit of noise from below at bar due to festive celebrations but shutting the bathroom door seemed to cure that so it didn`t bother us. Would definitely us this hotel again.

Generally very good. My only quibble would be with the bathroom - cramped, badly lit, and with only a fixed overhead shower

"Beautiful and stylish hotel with polite and attentive staff."

From first greeting to final goodbye we couldn`t fault the service. The room was very comfortable albeit not particularly spacious for the price. The breakfast was acceptable but we`ve had better quality at other hotels at a fraction of the headline price in the menu.

"Wonderful hotel !"

Stayed for only one night as part of a theatre break and wished we could stay for longer. From the offer of hot towels on arrival to the complimentary bottled water when we left the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious (def book a B&B arrangement as it would be a little pricey to pay for separately) and we will certainly aim to stay here again. Our room was a standard double and not enormous but plenty big enough for two with the space used efficiently and the welcome addition of bath robes, slippers and lovely tea/coffee etc.

"Fantastic Hotel in a great location."

We have stayed at The Bloomsbury before and this time booked through Hotel Direct and received a superb deal. The hotel is lovely and ideally located. Breakfast was a bonus and thoroughly enjoyed it, the staff were brilliant and the food excellent. We would highly recommend the Bloomsbury and Hotel Direct

"Bathroom design ridiculous could not get in showee"

Shower door opens on sink leaving a small gap to enter shower . My wife who is very slight struggled .

"Great location for a short stay in central London."

Room was well appointed and comfortable but was a trifle cramped and could have done with more wardrobe space and drawers. That said, everything else was great and the staff were welcoming and very pleasant, with a special mention for Julia. Delightful and surprising touch was the bottle of champagne in our room because the hotel had taken on board that it was our 50th wedding anniversary!

"Great Hotel "

This was our second stay at The Bloomsbury & it was just as good as the first if not better as they have added a few extra places to sit & have food & a drink. ALL the staff here are lovely, helpful & go out of their way to assist you. The hotel is in a great location, close to the theatres, pubs & restaurants. Definitely going back next time we see a show...

"Delightful hotel."

Haven`t stayed anywhere as good in a long while. Wonderful service, food and atmosphere. Cannot fault it. Would recommend and definitely stay again.

"hotel and staff equally superb"

From arrival to departure the experience was superb. when the reception found out that we were going To see Elf they gave our grandson a programme and when we returned later they had left on his bed a sticker book and had written a message on a mirror to him it pleased him greatly. A very nice touch. Will definitely return

"Excellent hotel - staff were really friendly and helpful"

The staff were very friendly. When the check-in receptionist found out it was our wedding anniversary, she bought a card for us and included a free cocktail drink for both of us. Very thoughtful and it made our stay that bit more special. Hotel was very comfortable and the breakfast excellent. We shall definitely stay there again.

The Bloomsbury has been a fantastic hotel. It is very quiet, spotlessly clean and well situated for shopping and sight seeing. I`m a fussy traveller, suffer with insomnia but this hotel came out trumps! Thank you very much!

"Wonderful stay!"

A lovely, very welcoming and extremely pleasant stay. Spending only one night was the only downside to our short break. Room 515 was dual aspect, very bright and quiet and perfect for our getaway. The staff couldn`t have been more accommodating, especially Maria and the team at breakfast (which was amazing) who were very friendly and made sure our every need was catered for. Would definitely stay again, highly recommended!

"Affordable luxury"

Our room was extremely comfortable particularly the bed had a great nights sleep! Must commend the staff, unobtrusive , helpful , polite and friendly nothing too much trouble. We had a delicious breakfast, wonderful cold breakfast buffet with so much choice and a freshly cooked full English which was really tasty, as much toast tea/coffee as you like . All in all a lovely weekend , thank you The Bloomsbury

"Lovely hotel"

We chose this hotel based on location for our theatre trip and a night out in Covent Garden and were really pleased with the standard. Surprisingly up market for what we paid - would highly recommend.

"Impressive hotel with first class standards"

We did experience a slight problem with our room but this was dealt with promptly and pleasantly. We found all staff to be friendly and approachable and cleanliness was of a high standard. The hotel is in a good position for touring London and we would definitely return.

"Wonderful welcome , very customer friendly , very nice room and good food."

Just a couple of issues , dirty trays left on landings and in room-bathroom door is see through , loo in wrong place.

"Lovely hotel."

Beautiful hotel, lots of good touches, such as complimentary cocktails given to my husband and I as it was anniversary. Our room was really nice and with plenty of space. This hotel has a lovely atmosphere, quite `grand` but not stuffy and the staff are professional yet friendly. It is a shame that there is not a grading between good and excellent because we would have gone for very good.

"Fabulous hotel and customer service, couldnt fault it."

We stayed for 1 night and would definitely recommend this hotel and return there again ourselves. The bar was nothing short of accommodating and amazing, the waiter was incredibly friendly and gave us a nye shot to start our evening off. Cocktails were fantastic. Only niggle we had was breakfast on room service was missing a few items however it was swiftly seen to. Cleaninless of room and hotel was exceptional, swift check in and out. We loved it. "Gem of a hotel in great location"

Spent 3 nights here in December 2014. Hotel was spotlessly clean, staff all very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was very good (although they did run out of marmalade and pineapple on the last morning!). Only thing that let it down a bit was the evening meal - saying that there are hundreds of great places to eat within easy walking distance.

"Warm and welcoming"

I could not have wished to stay in a nicer hotel and the location was perfect for access to the Congress Centre. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, an extra special thank you to Maria and Estelita during breakfast.
